London Fashion Week AW25

Chelsea Green

Hey Luxury Lovers! Get ready to dive into the glitz and glam of London Fashion Week AW25, where British fashion took centre stage with a burst of creativity and charm. This season's runways were a true spectacle: Burberry turned Tate Britain into a country house for the weekend, Erdem brought painted portraits to life at the British Museum, and a forever fav of mine, Simone Rocha, sent us back to school in the most rebellious way. Each collection told its own story, adding a sprinkle of magic to the fashion world. So grab your favourite cup of tea and settle in, darling.

Burberry

Burberry stole the show at Tate Britain, where Daniel Lee draped the galleries in giant reimagined tapestries and conjured the great British country-house weekend. The references were pure period drama, and so was the casting: Naomi Campbell, Erin O'Connor and Edie Campbell walked alongside actors including Lesley Manville, Richard E. Grant and Jason Isaacs.

The outerwear was, of course, the moment. Think regal officer's coats, shearling-lined jackets, corduroys and gabardines, with the Burberry check softened into country tones. Interior fabrics were cut into coats, so velvets and tapestry prints looked like they'd been lifted straight from a manor-house sofa.

The palette was russet browns, mustard yellows and deep greens, perfect for those crisp autumn walks in the countryside (or, let's be honest, the walk from the car to lunch).

Erdem

Erdem took us to the British Museum and handed the collection to an artist. He collaborated with British painter Kaye Donachie, whose dreamy, figurative portraits were printed and hand-painted directly onto the fabric. The result felt more spiritual and romantic than ever, almost like wearing a painting.

All of Erdem's signatures were there: structured bodices and corsets, three-dimensional florals, full circle coats, bubble skirts and hourglass cocktail dresses. But there was a softness running through it all, from organza and satin to tweed that had been hand-shredded and frayed.

Donachie even painted Erdem's bestselling Bloom bag by hand. A bag that's also an artwork? Yes please.

Simone Rocha

Simone Rocha showed at Goldsmiths' Hall, all glittering chandeliers, with a collection inspired by The Tortoise and the Hare and a hazy memory of school days. Think Matilda: part strict headmistress, part romantic rebel. Alexa Chung walked, and instead of handbags, models carried stuffed hares.

Faux fur was everywhere, trimming bras, miniskirts, hems and collars, next to black leather biker dresses and oversized black trench coats. Then came the sweet side: floral cardigans with matching shorts, ribbon-laced pastel pink dresses and sheer slips.

Powder blue, pink and flashes of red cut through all that black. It was tough and tender at the same time, which is exactly why I love her.

London Fashion Week AW25 reminded us that fashion isn't just about clothes. It's about storytelling, artistry and identity. Whether you're planning your next investment coat or simply daydreaming about a painted Erdem gown while spoon-feeding your toddler, remember style is your superpower. And darling, you wear it so well.

Until next season,
